A little downtime and we fixed search

| Comments (13)

Many of you have probably noticed our search function not being up to par. It should be fixed now, please report anything weird in the comment field.

We are going down now for about 15 minutes while we tweak our servers to better handle the traffic.

BRB :)

UPDATE: My profile is currently not working, we are working hard trying to fix it now.

UPDATE 2: Everything should be working fine now :)

You misspelled “license” in all of the listings.

Rahul Sinha said:

Seth, licence is the Commonwealth (British) spelling for license.

Ah, worldly Americans.

i’m still getting the “server down” message, even after you posted “everything is ok”

There is a little bug in the add app page.

When you get an error msg it replaces the field, which means you can’t edit the field anymore unless you hit the back button.

Just to let you know.

Btw you’re featured on TUAW.

The search function does not work when changing pages (missing search query)

Rahul,

You have the internet in Britian?

Search is getting better but still seems to have some problems.

Example:

“sidenote” finds nothing instead of the program Sidenote (changing the CASE in the search makes no difference).

Also, please provide a PNG logo in various sizes that web developers may use to link to your site. Perhaps a special icon for app developers also to use to help direct people to their product page on your site.

What a great site, how do you build such a cool site, its excellent.
